Private Car Service Between Boston and LaGuardia Airport

Most clients who book this ride already have a flight out of LGA. We pick you up at your door and drop you at your terminal at LaGuardia. One car, one chauffeur, and a price you confirm before the trip. We’ve been driving clients out of Massachusetts since 2008.

Boston to LaGuardia: Distance and Drive Time

LaGuardia is about 190 miles from downtown Boston. Off-peak, the drive takes 3.5 to 4 hours.

There are two usual routes. One follows I-95 through Providence and along the Connecticut shore. The other takes the Mass Pike and I-84 through Hartford. Both end the same way. We cross into Queens on the Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge, then take the Grand Central Parkway to the terminals.

The airport is in Queens, so the trip never enters Manhattan. The congestion toll below 60th Street doesn’t apply. The ride is also a bit shorter than the one to JFK.

When you leaveTypical drive to LGA
Late night or early morningAbout 3.5 hours
Weekday midday3.5 to 4 hours
Weekday rush hour near New York4 to 4.5 hours
Friday afternoon or a holiday eve4.5 hours or more

We check traffic before pickup and keep checking on the road. Your chauffeur picks the faster bridge that day. Whatever the traffic does, the fare stays the one you confirmed.

When Should You Leave Boston for a LaGuardia Flight?

Nearly every flight out of LaGuardia is domestic. Airlines ask you to be at the airport about 2 hours before departure. Add the drive and at least an hour of buffer. On Fridays and before holidays, add more.

Why Drive to LaGuardia Instead of Flying from Logan

The Logan to LaGuardia flight is about an hour in the air. Still, many of our clients skip it. Here’s why.

Your short flight was canceled. If your flight out of LaGuardia is still reachable, call us. We’ll tell you honestly whether a car can get you there in time.

The nonstop you want leaves from LGA. Delta and American run large operations at LaGuardia. Sometimes the right schedule or fare simply starts in New York, not Boston.

You live west of Boston. From Worcester or MetroWest, flying means a drive to Logan, security, and a connection. A car heads straight to LaGuardia on I-84 and never touches Boston traffic.

Three or four people are going. A flight is priced per seat. A car is one fare for everyone in it, bags included.

The train works for one traveler with a backpack. LaGuardia has no rail link, though, so the last leg is a bus or a cab. With suitcases, kids, or an early flight, every change takes longer than planned.

How We Price the LaGuardia Trip

You get a fixed quote before you confirm the ride. It depends on three things:

  • Your pickup address
  • The vehicle you choose
  • The date and time of the trip

Traffic, detours, and busy travel days don’t change the quote. We don’t use surge pricing. Extra waiting time and extra stops you request on the day are billed separately.

Where We Pick You Up

Boston and Nearby Towns

We pick up at homes, hotels, and offices across Greater Boston. Regular addresses include the North End, Kendall Square, Brookline, Quincy, and Lexington.

Visiting Boston and flying home from LaGuardia? Tell us your hotel and checkout time, and we’ll plan the rest.

Worcester and Central Massachusetts

Our base is in Grafton. For Worcester, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Marlborough, and Framingham, your car comes from close by.

From here, we take the Mass Pike west and turn onto I-84 toward Hartford. You skip Route 128 and downtown Boston completely.

Logan Airport

Flew into Logan, but your next flight leaves from LaGuardia? Your chauffeur waits at the limo stand at your Logan terminal. We watch your incoming flight, so an early or late landing is covered. Free waiting is 30 minutes after a domestic arrival and 60 minutes after an international one.

Drop-off at LaGuardia Terminals

LaGuardia has three terminals: A, B, and C. They are separate buildings, each with its own security checkpoint. Switching terminals on foot isn’t practical, and you would clear security again.

Delta flies from Terminal C. Most other major airlines use Terminal B. Assignments have changed more than once in recent years, so check your airline app the day before.

Add your flight number to the booking, and we confirm the terminal before pickup. We pull up at the departures curb, your chauffeur unloads the bags, and you walk in.

LaGuardia to Boston Car Service

We drive this route north just as often. Fly into LaGuardia and ride straight to your address in Boston or anywhere in Massachusetts.

Send your flight number when you book. We follow the flight and time the pickup to your real landing. Once you’re on the ground, your chauffeur calls or texts with the meeting point.

Clients book the ride from LaGuardia to Boston in a few typical cases:

  • Your flight to Boston was canceled. Call us and tell us where you are. We’ll say right away how soon a car can reach you.
  • You connected through LaGuardia. Skip the second short flight to Logan and ride home with all your bags.
  • You live in Central Mass. A car to Worcester or Grafton is often simpler than a flight into Logan plus another ride west.

Vehicles for the LaGuardia Trip

Most LaGuardia trips are business travel or short family trips. Bags are usually smaller than on an overseas run. Here’s how clients choose:

Luxury Sedan. One or two travelers with a carry-on or a suitcase each. A quiet place for calls on the way down.

Premium SUV. A family, three colleagues, or anyone with golf bags or ski gear.

Luxury Van. A team or a large family flying out together. Everyone and everything rides in one vehicle.

Not sure? Send us the passenger and bag count, and we’ll match the car. Details are on our fleet page.
