Luxury car service from Boston and Logan to JFK Airport 24/7
A private car from your door in Boston to your airline’s terminal at JFK. Your chauffeur handles the drive and the bags. The rate is fixed when you book.
Most of our JFK clients are catching an international flight. Some have a connection through New York. Others found a better fare out of JFK than out of Logan. Either way you want to reach the terminal on time and not too tired.
How Long Is the Drive from Boston to JFK?
Off-peak, plan on 3.5 to 4 hours from downtown Boston to the JFK curb. The distance is close to 200 miles.
The route runs south on I-95 through Providence and along the Connecticut shore. In the Bronx, we cross into Queens over the Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge. From there, it’s a short drive down to the airport.
The road to JFK stays out of Manhattan. The congestion toll below 60th Street doesn’t apply to this trip.
Traffic decides the rest. These are the slowest windows:
- Friday afternoons and evenings, especially before long weekends
- Sunday evenings heading into New York
- Weekday rush hours near New Haven, Stamford, and the Bronx
- The days before Thanksgiving, Christmas, and July 4th
On those days, five hours or more is realistic. We check traffic before every trip. Your chauffeur picks the faster bridge on the day. A slow afternoon on I-95 doesn’t change the rate you confirmed.
When Should You Leave Boston for a JFK Flight?
This is the question we hear most.
Airlines usually ask you to arrive 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international one. Add the drive. Then add a buffer for traffic and airport roads. On weekdays, we suggest at least an hour. On Fridays and holiday weekends, more.
| Your flight from JFK | Be at the terminal by | Typical pickup in Boston |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic, 2:00 PM, weekday | 12:00 PM | Around 7:00 AM |
| International, 6:00 PM, weekday | 3:00 PM | Around 10:00 AM |
| International, 6:00 PM, Friday | 3:00 PM | Around 9:00 AM |
| International, 8:00 AM, any day | 5:00 AM | Around 12:30 AM |
Treat these as starting points. Send us your flight number when you book, and we’ll confirm a pickup time that fits your trip.
Early morning flight? We drive overnight, too. Traffic is lighter after midnight, and you can sleep most of the way.
JFK is also in the middle of a major rebuild. New terminals are opening in phases, and drop-off lanes can shift.
Why Travelers Drive to JFK Instead of Flying from Logan
An international flight that leaves from JFK. Some routes and airlines fly only from New York. Others cost much less from JFK. A car gets you there without booking a second flight.
A connection you’d rather skip. A short hop from Logan means a second check-in, a second security line, and a tight transfer. If the first flight runs late, the long-haul flight can leave without you. By car, you check in once, at the airport you actually fly from.
A canceled connection at Logan. It happens. If you’re stuck at Logan and your JFK flight is still reachable, call us. We’ll tell you straight whether we can get you there in time.
A family with big suitcases. Kids, parents, and a week’s worth of luggage go in one vehicle. Nobody drags bags through stations or waits at a carousel for a connection.
Car Service vs. Flying vs. Train to JFK
| Private car | Flight from Logan | Amtrak + AirTrain | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Your door to the departures curb | Logan to JFK, then your connection | Train to Penn Station, LIRR or subway to Jamaica, then AirTrain |
| Changes along the way | None | One connection | Two, plus getting to South Station |
| Luggage | Loaded at your door, unloaded at the curb | Bag fees and the risk of a missed transfer | You carry it through every station |
| Departure time | Your choice | Airline schedule | Train schedule |
| Group of three or four | One rate for the car | A ticket for each person | A fare for each person, on each leg |
The train works for one traveler with a carry-on and time to spare. It gets harder with heavy bags, kids, or an early flight. Every change with luggage adds time and effort.
The short flight looks quick on paper. The risk sits in the connection. If the first flight runs late, you can miss the second one and loose the whole trip.

How Pricing Works
Every Boston to JFK trip gets a fixed quote before you book. The price you confirm is the price you pay. We don’t use surge pricing, and traffic doesn’t add to the fare.
Your quote depends on three things:
- The vehicle you choose
- Your pickup address
- The date and time of the trip
Extra waiting time is billed at $60 per hour. We’ll tell you how much free waiting your trip includes when you book.
For an exact number, call (617) 304-2194 or request a quote online.
Where We Pick Up
Boston and Greater Boston
We pick up at homes, hotels, and offices across the Boston area. Common addresses include Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the Seaport, the Financial District, Cambridge, Brookline, and Newton.
Hotel pickups are popular with visitors who flew into Boston but fly home from JFK. Send us the hotel name and your pickup time. That’s all we need.
Logan Airport to JFK
Landing at Logan and flying out of JFK? Your chauffeur meets you at the limo stand at your Logan terminal and heads straight to New York.
We follow your incoming flight, so an early or late landing doesn’t throw off the pickup. You get 30 minutes of free waiting after a domestic arrival and 60 minutes after an international one.
Leave enough time between the two flights. Send us both flight numbers, and we’ll tell you honestly if the gap works.
Worcester and Central Massachusetts
We’re based in Grafton, west of Boston. For clients in Worcester, Shrewsbury, Westborough, and nearby towns, your car comes from minutes away, not from the city.
The ride to JFK from Central Mass also skips downtown Boston and Route 128 traffic.
Drop-off at JFK Terminals
Your chauffeur pulls up at the departures curb of your airline’s terminal and helps with your bags. From there, you walk straight to check-in.
JFK is changing fast in 2026. New terminals are opening in phases, older ones are closing, and some airlines are moving between buildings. Before you fly:
- Check your terminal in your airline app or on your boarding pass the day before.
- Include your flight number in the booking. We confirm the terminal before pickup.
Heading into Manhattan instead? See our Boston to NYC car service.
If Your Flight Schedule Changes
Airlines move flights all the time.
Your departure time changes before the trip. Call or message us as soon as you know. We’ll move the pickup to match whenever the schedule allows.
Traffic builds up on the way. Your chauffeur watches the road the whole trip. If a delay starts forming, we reroute where it helps and keep you posted.
You’re not sure how much time to leave. Call us before you book. We’d rather plan an earlier pickup than watch you run for the gate.
JFK to Boston Car Service
We drive this route in both directions. Fly into JFK and ride straight home to Boston or anywhere in Massachusetts.
Share your flight number when you book. We track the flight and time the pickup to your real landing, not the printed schedule. Once you’re on the ground, your chauffeur gets in touch and confirms where to meet.
After a long international flight, nobody wants to drag suitcases to a train platform. A few hours after landing, you’re at your own front door.
Vehicles for the JFK Trip
On an airport run, trunk space matters as much as seats. Quick guide:
Luxury Sedan. Best for solo travelers and couples with standard suitcases. Quiet enough to rest before a long flight.
Premium SUV. The usual choice for international trips. Families, travelers with oversized bags, and anyone carrying gear for a long stay pick this one.
Luxury Van. For a group flying out together. Everyone arrives at the terminal at the same time, with all the luggage in one vehicle.
Tell us how many people and bags you have, and we’ll recommend the right car. See the full fleet.
